Buy Balmain and pay up to 43% less for it this way ...

The following strategy works only if you are not a resident of Europe.

Did you know that you can get higher tax returns from European countries when you buy the items in Europe from outside Europe? For example, if you are in Paris and go to Balmain and buy an item, after processing fees and applied exchange rates you get only about 12% of the 20% tax return, but if you are in New York and call the retail store in Paris and ask them to ship the item to you, Balmain store automatically deducts 20% off the retail price and sends the item to you.

However, you should know that when the Balmain item arrives in New York, you would need to pay around 15% for US tariffs, but on the upside you will not pay the tax rate of New York which is about 9%; using this method, you will save not only on the state tax, but on many other applied external fees that together add up to make the same Balmain item in retail stores of New York at least 35% more expensive than if you call the store in Paris and ask them to ship the desired item to you.

In summary, if you have your eyes on an expensive European luxury item and you live outside Europe, it is quite likely that you can save up to 43% of the retail price of the same luxury item in your home country, if you just call the retail store of the brand in Europe and ask them to ship the item to you in your home country.
